Travel Recap

Travel Recap: Belize, Hawaii, and More!

I've been fortunate to explore two incredible destinations that couldn't be more different from each other and I loved them both.

Belize offered an amazing blend of adventure and culture. From exploring Caye Caulker and The Split to experiencing the laid-back Caribbean vibe on a super-chill private island and fishing the world's second largest reef, it was a perfect escape. The contrast between jungle landscapes and crystal-clear waters made every day feel like a new discovery.

Hawaii held some some industry-related conferences this year and made for a perfect adult getaway which was exactly what we needed. A chance to unplug, reconnect, and soak in some of the most beautiful scenery on Earth.

It is truly a special place. Whether watching the sunrise over volcanic landscapes, Driving The Road to Hana in a Jeep Wrangler and stopping for locally made banana bread, whale watching during peak season (wow, just wow!) or simply taking time to be present, mindful, and grateful, Hawaii delivered in every way.

Some other travel highlights...

Washington DC - I had the honor of presenting alongside Google at the Digital Advertising Alliance Summit, where small businesses and tech giants converged to discuss data privacy and the future of digital advertising. It was incredible to represent Jason Anthony Group on that stage and share insights with industry leaders. Read more about the summit here.

Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas - Just outside the Vegas strip lies this incredible natural wonder. The 13-mile scenic drive and hiking trails offered a welcome contrast to the city's energy. The crimson sandstone formations at sunset were killer.

Phoenix & Sedona - The Arizona desert landscape is absolutely stunning. Sedona's red rocks and vortex energy sites were unlike anything I'd experienced before. The perfect place for clearing your head and reconnecting with nature.

Charleston, South Carolina - Southern charm at its finest. The historic architecture, incredible food scene, and coastal beauty. Oh, and I got engaged - which made this trip unforgettable. More on that adventure later :)

Carolina Beach & Hilton Head - Both of these trips we were able to bank some fun, quality time with with the kiddos. Lots of beach days where the kids were fearless in the ocean, ice cream shops, and making memories. These are certainly the kind of trips remind us why balance matters.

In fact, all of these adventures are great reminders of why travel matters.. it gives you perspective, recharges your creativity, and creates memories that stick with you long after you've unpacked.

Looking at all this and it seems like a lot, haha, but I'll give you a great travel tip/hack - we've been leveraging rewards/points for free stays and flights with the Capital One Venture X card and I am kicking myself for not starting this decades ago!

Pro tip - Sign up first then get a family, partner or spouse on board to really jumpstart your adventures with big bonus points. We stacked something like 150,000-200,000 points right out of the gate with our cards. And if it happens to fit your lifestyle and needs you can get unlimited miles on everything you buy.

Big News: Google Economic Impact Report

I'm proud to share that Jason Anthony Group was featured in last year's Google's Economic Impact Report for Pennsylvania. This recognition highlights the work we've been doing to help businesses grow through web development, SEO, Google Ads management, and digital marketing.

It's incredibly validating to see our efforts acknowledged by Google, and it reinforces our commitment to delivering measurable results for our clients. We do this day-to-day for our clients all across North America and around the globe, so if you're looking to elevate your digital presence in 2026, let's talk.

After all these major trips and flights for work and fun, I've dialed in my travel setup. Here's what's currently making my life significantly better:

Tumi Alpha International Expandable 4 Wheeled Carry-On

What I love about it - This is THE carry-on. The build quality is exceptional, the organization keeps everything accessible, and it glides effortlessly through airports. The expandable feature is great for bringing back souvenirs or packing for longer trips. Worth every penny.

Beats Studio Pro Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones

What I love about it - These have become essential for flights, focused work sessions, and just enjoying the music. The noise cancellation is phenomenal. Tested them out on a packed 7-hour flight and they truly provided a lot of comfort and peace. The sound quality is excellent, and the battery life easily handles cross-country trips without needing a charge.

Gusto Payroll Services

What I love about it - If you're a a solo entrepreneur, freelancer or business owner, payroll used to be one of those tasks I dreaded. I've spent the last few years using the "big guys" for payroll and had a lot of frustrations.

Made the switch to Gusto and it has completely streamlined this process. The platform is intuitive, easy to get onboarded, and handles all the tax compliance automatically, and makes paying myself ridiculously simple.

If you're flying solo and in that S-Corp territory or running a small team, this is worth checking out. I've even got a link you can use - zero extra cost to you - that will bank yourself an extra $100.00-$200.00 for trying them out: Try Gusto Payroll Here
